Toronto Wolfpack have confirmed their round five clash against St Helens has been moved to the Haliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington.
The match was scheduled to take place at Allianz Park in London, but has been moved because of ‘significant changes to the original deal.’
Martin Vickers, Toronto Wolfpack UK General Manager told the club website: “It is with great disappointment that we need to make this change but sadly it comes as a result of reasons outside of our control.
“We are extremely grateful for the support of Simon Moran, Stuart Middleton and Karl Fitzpatrick of Warrington for stepping into the breach to allow this fixture to happen. We must also thank St. Helens, who have worked tirelessly with us to resolve this difficult issue we were faced with.”
“We are fortunate that tickets have not yet been released for sale however should any fans have incurred any expenditure that isn’t able to be recovered, they should contact firstname.lastname@example.org with evidence of such payments and the club will be in contact as soon as possible.
Ticket details from both clubs are expected to come in the next week.
Also, as a result, London Skolars against North Wales Crusaders will need to find a new venue. This was supposed to be the curtain raiser to the main event. But both clubs are looking for a solution.
