Warrington half back Kevin Brown has been ruled out for the season , before it’s even begun , after rupturing his Achilles tendon in training yesterday.
Whilst the club are yet to confirm the seriousness of the injury to their half back the Warrington Guardian has reported that the season is already over for 34 year old Brown who has played over 50 times for the famous Primrose and Blue .
The club look likely to apply for salary cap dispensation so they are able to sign a replacement for Brown for the 2019 season , but it is very unlikely to be Gareth Widdop who joins the club at the end of the year .
