The big games keep coming thick and fast in Super League and Friday night rugby comes from the Jungle where injury hit Castleford entertain Warrington .
The Tigers lost a poor game , albeit in awful conditions , at Wigan last week and they have to pick themselves up to take on a Wire side who sit 6 points ahead of them in the table . They did though suffer 2 defeats in a row last month but despite that have racked up plenty of points in their last 2 and it’s hard to see them slipping up here . Cas are without a string of key players , including Shenton and Moors and have now lost 5 of their last 8 games .
They looked 2nd best in the 2nd half at Wigan as a hard Easter really took it’s toll .They also nearly lost a big lead against Wakefield and had to travel to France on Easter Monday .
The bookies make the visitors favourites at 1/2 and that is justified , you’d want more than the general 15:8 for Castleford given their absentee list . Complacency could be a problem for Wire but that is unlikely after the rocket they received after losing to Salford on Good Friday .
Wire have to concede a 6 point start on the handicap which I think they can do and win this by around 11-15 points . Plenty of games this season including Cas at Wigan , have seen the side trailing at half time go on and win the game and Castleford half time Warrington full time looks a value fun bet at 6/1 .
Plenty of man of the match options in Primrose and Blue but it has to be favourite Austin at 6/1 ahead of former Tiger Clark at a point bigger .Austin for me has been the best player so far in Super League this season .
Liam Watts has been putting in the minutes for Cas and he’d by my choice for the Fords at 16/1.
4 live Cup games next week including Warrington v Wigan , as always please gamble responsibly
