Hull KR head coach Willie Peters has sent a message to his players ahead of a season-defining game against Wigan Warriors this weekend.
The Robins currently sit top of the Super League table, but are only ahead of the Warriors on points difference, meaning this game could be the decider as to who wins the League Leaders’ Shield.
This would be the club’s first major trophy since 1985, so everyone at the club will be desperate to get their hands on some silverware.
They beat Salford Red Devils 32-12 at Craven Park on Friday night, but Willie Peters wasn’t completely happy at full-time.

Peters said after the game: “We’re in a really strong position but we always talk about performance. I still think there are areas of our game that we can work on and improve.
“Next it’s playing against the world champions at their place. There’s never easy games but we’re looking forward to the challenge next week.
“It’s more an opportunity for us. The opportunity presents itself to go to Wigan and play the style of rugby that we can.”
One particular moment in defence was highlighted as a concern, and he continued: “We let in a try that came too easy to them down that short side; our markers didn’t do their job and then we didn’t get enough people across.
“I was disappointed with that, but happy with the way the players responded. To go in 20-6 without playing our best, I thought that was good.”
The Warriors also beat play-off hopefuls at the weekend, getting past Catalans Dragons in Perpignan – but they also didn’t seem to be at their best.
Whichever side can find their groove on Friday night may find themselves on the top of the pile come the end of the regular season.
