Hull KR head coach Willie Peters has given his verdict after a 40-16 victory over London Broncos kept them within touching distance of the summit of the table.
It was, ultimately, a comfortable 80 minutes for the Robins, which saw them move to second place with Wigan getting hammered by Warrington at the same time.
Willie Peters, via BBC Humberside, said after the game: “It wasn’t our best performance of the year, but I thought London were outstanding. The scoreline certainly didn’t indicate how close the game was.
“We spoke at half-time, we weren’t playing that bad. We had a lot of good ball opportunities and we just probably didn’t get that one or two tries that we would have liked.”

Mikey Lewis was once again one of the stars of the show, and Peters said: “Mikey actually spoke at half-time, I was really proud of him, he summed it up perfectly. It wasn’t that bad that first half but he just outlined the key areas that we needed to do better and we focused on that.
“Then his summary after the game was spot on as well when he wasn’t happy with what we did early on in that second half with errors and penalties and that type of thing.
“Overall that first half, I thought we played reasonably well but they found a way to defend us and turn up for each other and they didn’t go away so full credit to London.
“I thought Mikey Lewis was the difference tonight. He was outstanding. So, if we don’t have Mikey tonight, what would happen to that game? I thought he was outstanding.”
