Willie Peters was no doubt disappointed to see his Hull KR side to lose to Wigan Warriors in golden point.
After the game, Peters explained he felt they had a chance to ice the game and they didn’t.
“We’ll take plenty from it,” Peters said on Sky Sports.
“It was a really good spectacle, brilliant to watch.
“We were in a position to win the game and we let it get away and we will get a lot learnt form that.
“I thought at one stage the game was going to get away from us but I was impressed by the way we got back in but then we had a chance to ice the game and we didn’t so a lot to learn from the game.”

He explained that the effort was there but that some areas let them down:
“They have high expectations of themselves, we want to compete every game that we play.
“Overall I am proud of the effort, even though we didn’t get the result.”
He admitted that his players will be disappointed as he said they are determined to be like Wigan:
“Certainly, when players put that much into a game and you don’t win, it can be disheartening.
“But we will have a look at it.
