Willie Peters confirms Hull KR face nervous wait in two star players

Going into their clash against Wakefield Trinity Hull KR lost Jordan Abdull, Dean Hadley and Frankie Halton.

Going into their game against Leeds Rhinos, coach Willie Peters gave the following update:

“They will, we’ve just got one more from Dean to get through but the other two are fine. He’s fine but he had another one that we needed to tick off, he’s seen all the specialists and passed all the protocols so it’s just one more to tick off.”

He also said that they have a nervous weight on Ryan Hall and Tom Opacic:

Ryan Hall: “He’s still touch and go. We’re not sure with Hally.

“Tom Opacic he came off with a groin issue last week so he’s another one.

“With our forward pack there’s going to be players that miss out and it’s unfortunate for them but you’re still trying to find the right blend of who is your best pack or your best 17, but that changes throughout the year.

“It all balances out but you want to have a headache when selecting but the pleasing part is that we’ve got a reserve grade game this weekend and the players want to play, so it’s good to be able to play both grades this weekend.”
