Wigan Warriors vs Warrington Wolves: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

This is always a huge fixture but doesn’t have the same stakes as many expected it to have at the start of the season when the fixtures were released.

Many anticipated this to be a major tussle in the play-off race, but instead Wigan are firmly settled inside the play-offs whilst Warrington are striving to banish any fears of relegation.

As things get tougher for Daryl Powell’s Wolves, can they pick up a vital win.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 20:00.

TV coverage starts at 19:30 on Sky Sports Action.

Predicted Line-ups

Wigan Warriors
Wigan have a crisis at nine with Sam Powell joining Thomas Leuluai in the treatment room and Brad O’Neill controversially suspended this week. It’ll therefore be Joe Shorrocks at nine though I don’t foresee Matt Peet making many changes after a win last week. Brad Singleton will return the side after injury and Mike Cooper will feature against his former side.

Warrington Wolves
Matt Dufty’s Warrington debut ended prematurely with an injury which will leave him sidelined for a couple of weeks. So, Josh Thewlis will take over at fullback as he did the week before Dufty’s arrival. George Williams return against his former side will allow Peter Mata’utia to centre. Matty Nicholson will figure against his former team.
