Wigan Warriors vs Toulouse Olympique: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

Wigan Warriors were shocked last week by Wakefield meaning their chances of winning the League Leaders’ Shield are now remote at best.

Their dreams of Old Trafford are of course still very much alive but they certainly need a boost of momentum after last week’s defeat so a game against Toulouse who are now all but relegated is perhaps the perfect fixture for them.

As for the French side, it’s last chance saloon. They need a win as soon as possible but away to Wigan a victory seems unlikely.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 20:00.

There is no live TV coverage but highlights will be shown on BBC on the Super League.

Predicted Line-ups

Wigan Warriors
Wigan could be boosted by the return of both Liam Farrell and John Bateman in the second-row though Morgan Smithies may not be risked with Willie Isa possibly back at 13. Kai Pearce-Paul could also remain in the team at centre. Brad O’Neill will stick it out at nine.

Toulouse Olympique
Needing a win, Toulouse will have to shuffle around their spine. The loss of Olly Ashall-Bott and Corey Norman could see Tony Gigot move to fullback and Chris Hankinson join Lucas Albert in the halves making Guy Armitage’s return to the centres timely. Maxime Stefani may replace Dominique Peyroux in the backrow.
