Hull KR will be without Niall Evalds this evening as they take on Wigan Warriors at the Brick Community Stadium.
The two sides are currently locked on 38 points in the Super League table, but with just two more games to play after tonight’s contest, the winner will take a huge step towards claiming the League Leaders’ Shield. Of course, it’s been 39 years since KR got their hands on a major trophy and they’ll be desperate to pick up the points tonight and move to within touching distance of silverware.
However, the absence of Evalds comes as a huge blow for the east Hull outfit with a reason yet to be confirmed. Jack Broadbent starts at full-back in his place, with the youngster picking up praise for his performance last week against Salford Red Devils.
Joe Burgess returns to the starting line up against his old side, while James Batchelor starts after serving a ban. Jack Brown drops off the bench.
Wigan are boosted by the returns of Harry Smith and Liam Farrell with the latter overcoming injury to reclaim a starting spot, while Smith has served a three-game ban. That means Adam Keighran moves out of the halves and into the centres, with Zach Eckersley and Sam Walters dropping out of the fold altogether.
