Willie Peters and Matt Peet have made two changes to their respective teams this evening as league leaders Hull KR face off against Wigan Warriors at the Brick Community Stadium.
The Robins know that a win this evening would put them six points clear at the top of the Super League table and leave them firmly in the driving seat to win the League Leaders’ Shield. Wigan will be determined to prevent that from happening, though, with the Cherry and Whites aiming to bolster their own push for the league trophy.
A win would pull them up to within two points of the Robins and with five more rounds of action to be played this week, the shield would be firmly in the balance.
Both head coaches have been forced into changes with Peet losing Junior Nsemba to a failed HIA last week. Sam Walters is the man to come into the side in the back-row, as expected.
Abbas Miski has been passed fit to play and he comes onto the wing for the Warriors but there’s no Bevan French as he continues to recover from his calf problem. Harvie Hill is the man to come into the side on the bench while Jack Farrimond, who scored two tries last week at Warrington Wolves, misses out.
As such, Adam Keighran is the man selected to play in the halves alongside Harry Smith.
Peters had a half-back call to make too but he’s stuck with Arthur Mourgue alongside Mikey Lewis with Jack Broadbent remaining at full-back. The only change to the starting XIII comes at hooker with Michael McIlorum missing out through injury.
Jez Litten starts with Bill Leyland coming onto the bench. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves is fit too after overcoming a slight shoulder issue and he replaces Eribe Doro on the bench.
