Wigan Warriors host Huddersfield Giants today fresh off the back of their Las Vegas win and here’s how we predict both sides will line up.
Matt Peet’s side arrived back in the UK on Tuesday and their focus has primarily been on recovery per Kaide Ellis, however, they have been able to train and will feel prepared to keep their strong form going.
After being kept to zero points in Round One by Leigh, the Warriors have scored 40 or more in the past two weeks as they ran in eight tries on both occasions including in that incredible Las Vegas win over Warrington Wolves.
Wigan Warriors v Huddersfield Giants 21-man squads and team news
Huddersfield have faced the same three opponents and come out with zero wins, although they have been competitive in every game. One concerning issue for Luke Robinson will be that his team have led at half-time in every game but failed to capture the two points, something they’ll desperately want to change.
With a number of returning players for the Giants and Wigan potentially contending with Vegas fatigue, here’s how we predict each side will line up.

Wigan Warriors have named an unchanged squad and in all likelihood that will mean an unchanged matchday squad with little reason to change after the clinic they put on in Vegas.
No one came home with any reported injuries and no one really put a foot out of line, at least for the first 60 minutes at which point Wigan led 42-0. If Peet is to make any changes then he could look to alter which of his forward pack start but Tyler Dupree has become somewhat of an impact sub, as evidenced by his score after just a couple of minutes last week.
Wigan Warriors predicted XIII: Jai Field; Abbas Miski, Adam Keighran, Jake Wardle, Liam Marshall; Bevan French, Harry Smith; Luke Thompson, Kruise Leeming, Liam Byrne; Junior Nsemba, Liam Farrell, Kaide Ellis
Interchanges: Tom Forber, Patrick Mago, Sam Walters, Tyler Dupree

Whilst there is no predicted change for Wigan, there’s plenty of change for Huddersfield and that’s based on two key players returning as well as two others dropping out.
Adam Clune and Liam Sutcliffe both return whilst Taane Milne is approaching fitness after being Down Under for the birth of his child. The latter two could make their debuts this weekend with Milne potentially used as a versatile sub who can cover both centre and second-row, where he has played for Fiji.
Missing out is Zac Woolford which should see Ash Golding start at nine and Thomas Deakin, who has been out on loan, earn a spot on the bench. Greenwood will be replaced by Sam Hewitt who started last week in the centres – a role now filled by possible debutant Sutcliffe.
A key decision will be on the wing with Aidan McGowan starting there last week and we’ve backed him to keep that spot over Elliot Wallis. Meanwhile, despite being named to the squad Luke Robinson confirmed Matty English has a shoulder injury so he’s likely to drop out.
Huddersfield Giants predicted XIII: Jacob Gagai; Aidan McGowan, Jake Bibby, Liam Sutcliffe, Adam Swift; Tui Lolohea, Adam Clune; Tom Burgess, Ash Golding, Oliver Wilson; Jack Murchie, Sam Hewitt, Leroy Cudjoe
Interchanges: Jack Billington, Taane Milne, Thomas Deakin, Fenton Rogers
