One Wigan Warriors star has opted to raffle off memorabilia from the 2024 Challenge Cup Final to help raise funds for charity.
Harry Smith has taken to social media to confirm that he is offering up his boots from the Challenge Cup Final victory over Warrington Wolves in a bid to help raise funds to combat a rare genetic disorder.
Smith has signed the boots, with which he kicked six of Wigan’s 18 points, and is hoping to raise £500 for Joseph’s Goal, a charity set up in aid of funding and raising awareness about Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH).
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Smith posted: “Be in with a chance of winning my Challenge Cup Final signed boots! Click the link below to enter the raffle!!”
The Just Giving page provides more information, including ticket prices, with one fan set to unwrap the Wigan Warriors man’s boots for Christmas, and for as little as £2.

The disorder affects one in 60,000 new borns.
To have a chance at taking home Smith’s boots and more importantly helping a brilliant cause, you can donate here, with one ticket costing £2, three tickets costing £5 and seven tickets costing £10.
All money raised from the raffle will go towards research and Harry Smith is set to conduct the draw before Christmas. Thus far, £265 of the £500 target has been raised.
This is just the latest charity campaign that Wigan Warriors have got involved in with the club opting to partner with the Wigan & Leigh Hospice for the 2025 season. That’s seen the local charity emblazoned on the Super League champion’s third shirt, a shirt that pays tribute to Liam Marshall’s mum after she sadly passed away earlier this year.
