Two Super League stars are headed to the NRL in 2024.

That’s because yesterday it was confirmed that Huddersfield Giants’ Will Pryce and Wigan Warriors’ Kai Pearce-Paul would be joining Newcastle Knights in 12 month’s time.

They have both signed two year deals with the Knights and are hoping to have a big impact on the club and prove they can match the best of the best down under.

That’s the aim of Wigan star Pearce-Paul who is backing himself to play “top footy” in the NRL.

“I back myself. I back myself to give it my all and adapt. I can pick things up pretty quickly. I am sure I will be OK.

“It is never going to be easy. The NRL is the top footy in the world and I know what to expect. I will just give it my all.”

The Knights certainly have the perfect blueprint for his development having developed Huddersfield Giants youngster Dom Young into a top winger during his time there.

He is now an England star scoring nine tries in the Rugby League World Cup playing alongside Pearce-Paul in the clash against Greece at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane.

It stands to reason that Pearce-Paul and Pryce can develop in the same way.
