Wigan Warriors sign American international for Women’s side

Wigan Warriors Women have confirm the signing of utility back Taylor White from the USA.

White joins the Club after making the move from Memphis, Tennessee and will be available for selection ahead of this weekend’s Betfred Women’s Super League opener.

The 27-year old went to Lafayette College in Pennsylvania, where she fell in love with the sport of Rugby. White has had experience playing 7s with Memphis Women and Phoenix, 9s with Roots Rugby, Rugby League and Rugby Union and brings over a real passion for the sport.

With experience at full back, wing, half back and scrum half, the American brings over versatility and will slot in where needed within the Women’s squad.

In Memphis, Taylor Captained the Women’s 7s and was also captain of Memphis Flamingos Rugby Union. She also made her debut on the International stage earlier this year, featuring off the interchange bench as USA Redtails faced Canadian Ravens in their inaugural International Test match.
