The likes of Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors, Warrington Wolves, Hull KR and Hull FC have delivered transfer announcements lately.
The Rhinos have signed Mickael Goudemand whilst missing out on Warrington Wolves signing Lachlan Fitzgibbon from the NRL’s Newcastle Knights.
Speaking of the NRL, Hull KR have made an immediate signing in the shape of Brad Schneider but their best business has been for next year with Oliver Gildart, Peta Hiku and AJ Wallace headed to Craven Park.
On the other side of the city, Jake Clifford will be leaving the club to join North Queensland Cowboys in 2024.
They have also lost Josh Griffin to Wakefield Trinity immediately.
But one club has really impressed in terms of recruitment is Wigan with the signings of Sam Walters, Tiaki Chan and of course Kruise Leeming and they will not end it there.
According to The Mole of Wide World of Sports, the Warriors were interested in Dolphins centre Brenko Lee which could spell the end of one player’s time at the DW Stadium.
The Tongan international and Queensland representative joined the NRL’s newest club for their inaugural season and according to the Notorious Mole, the club risk losing him to Wigan Warriors.
However, he was not the only centre Wigan are chasing however with former Sydney Roosters centre Adam Keighran also of interest according to L’Independent.
The centre has been one of the signings of the season over in Perpignan.
It has now been reported by Jenna Brooks on Sky Sports that Adam Keighran is set to sign for the Warriors “imminently.”
This comes with Toby King expected to return to Warrington Wolves after a loan spell at Wigan which has been successful.
However, it seems he won’t be staying beyond the end of the season so he will be very motivated to lift the Challenge Cup with the Warriors set to take on Hull KR in the semi-finals at Headingley next week.
He will also have his eyes on a Super League Grand Final.
