Wigan Warriors have offered supporters the chance to feature in their 150th year film.

In 2022, Britain’s most successful side will be celebrating their 150th year and they have plenty of plans to celebrate including engaging with former players, fireworks displays and a special occasion when they host rivals Warrington in Round 22.

As part of these celebrations, the club is putting together a video of supporters – after all they’re the heart and soul of any club with the Warriors even leaving the number 18 jersey vacant to represent their very own 18th man.

Some videos have already been submitted but the club has today released a rallying cry asking for more fans to get involved.

In a statement on the club website, the Warriors said: “The video clips could be of you and anyone else watching a Wigan game. Do you have footage showing you and your loved ones celebrating a try or singing your heart out for the Warriors? If you do, we want to see it!

“You don’t need to worry about the quality or size – taken on any mobile or video device is fine. Portrait or landscape is also fine.

“If you would like to send us a video, please note that you are confirming for us to use it as part of the 150th film and for us to share it on Wigan Warriors’ social media.

“Please also note that we cannot guarantee that all the videos we receive will feature in the film, but we will endeavour to use as many as we can.”

You can email videos to 150@wiganwarriors.com and for information check out Wigan’s website here.
