In a dress rehearsal for their Challenge Cup Final clash in 16 days time, both Huddersfield and Wigan rested a number of key players when naming their 21-man squads perhaps to keep their cards close to their chest ahead of the final.
However, both have rested even more when naming their chosen 17s for tonight’s huge Super League clash with the Warriors even naming a teenager at halfback for his Super League debut.
Logan Astley is the man in question and will start in the halves next to Harry Smith as Cade Cust is rested after scoring in last week’s semi-final win over St Helens.
He won’t be the only debutant with Matty Nicholson set to debut off the bench as the likes of Liam Farrell are also rested.

Huddersfield have also rested a few others when naming their starting 17 after leaving Jermaine McGillvary out of the 21 with Innes Senior rested as his twin Louis comes onto the wing. Jake Wardle also plays.
