Wigan Warriors are set to do battle against arch-rivals St Helens in the Challenge Cup semi-final this weekend at Elland Road.
With neither side getting disciplinary charges from the weekend, both teams are healthy in that respect, though Saints have lost Will Hopoate.
Wigan’s Jai Field was ill in the build-up to the Warriors’ demolition of Warrington Wolves last weekend, but head coach Matty Peet confirmed after the game that he should be right for their semi-final.
And, at his pre-match press conference today, he confirmed as such.
“There’s no surprises in our squad,” Peet said.
“We’re in decent shape, as are they. We’re quite fresh so we’re looking forward to it.”

On playing St Helens at Elland Road, Peet sounded more than up for it.
“I don’t think at any point this week I need to motivate the lads. Everyone knows their roles and we’ll be best prepared.
“I’d encourage any fan who is feeling excited about this match to get over to Leeds on Saturday. We thrive on the support from the fans, they’ve been outstanding all year and I do believe that our players respond to the noise they create.
“I like the games on neutral grounds, it gives it that cup final feeling. It’s special, it’s unique and it gives fans the opportunity to travel over and hopefully get the place bouncing.”
