Wigan Warriors have secured the futures of both Adam Keighran and Tom Forber in what comes as a huge boost for the Cherry and Whites.
Keighran has been one of the club’s top performers since joining from Catalans Dragons ahead of the 2024 campaign and impressive form has been rewarded with a new three-year deal. That will keep Keighran at the Brick Community Stadium until the end of the 2028 Super League campaign, when the centre will be 31-years-old.
The Australian has made 45 appearances for the club at the time of writing, with 15 tries and 147 goals coming along the way.
Forber has found game time under Matt Peet hard to come by this season, making just six outings in all competitions. However, the five-year deal he has signed with the club says a lot about how highly they rate the 21-year-old hooker.
He’ll be with the club until the end of the 2030 season, by which time he’ll be approaching his peak years as a player.

Speaking on his deal, Keighran told the club website: “I’m so grateful to sign on for a further three seasons at such a great club. It was never a tough decision to sign with Wigan, so I’m grateful to the club for allowing me to take the needed time to have the conversations with my family on the decision to stay in England.”
On Keighran’s deal, Peet added: “Adam’s performances have been right where we expected them to be from a player of his quality, and I’ve enjoyed coaching him and watching him develop over the last two years. I can’t wait to see how he progresses over the next three years.
“I’m equally delighted his young family have settled into the club and the community, and I thank them for their relentless support of Adam and the team.”
Peet added on Forber: “Tom is a quality hooker and a young man that has great qualities in terms of his professionalism and commitment. He is a player valued highly by his teammates and everyone that works with him on a daily basis. We are really proud of how he is developing.
“To secure him for the next four years means that we have strong depth and healthy competition in this position which is very important.”
