Wigan v Warrington: Predicted line-ups and late injury news

The rivalry between the Warriors and the Wolves continues today with a new chapter set to begin. For the first time, George Williams finds himself wearing blue and primrose rather than Cherry and White adding a little bit of spice to this already fiery feud.

Having put a stop to their recent poor form, Wigan are unlikely to make changes. After stumbling across the right formula in the back, Adrian Lam will keep Sam Halsall on the wing whilst keeping the balance of his pack the same. That said, the return of Sam Powell allows him to name a natural number nine for the first time in weeks meaning Joe  Shorrocks will return to the bench.

For the Wolves, as one winger drops out another becomes available. Josh Charnley will come into the side to replace Tom Lineham whilst Josh Thewlis remains on the other wing. After struggling for size against St Helens last week, the Wolves will have Mike Cooper back in the fold. Blake Austin is also back in contention and could be used off the bench to provide impact but the same could be said of Matty Ashton and Danny Walker.
