Wigan v St Helens: 21-man-squad and injury news

Wigan Warriors and St Helens will meet at the DW Stadium for the first time since Good Friday 2019 on Friday night in game three of Rivals Round.

Both sides will be looking to bounce back after defeats last time out. Wigan were beaten at Hull KR, while Saints lost at home to Castleford Tigers.

The match will kick off at 7.45pm, and will be live on Sky Sports.

Wigan Warriors

Adrian Lam has made two changes to the side beaten by Hull KR. Sam Powell misses out after failing a Head Injury Assessment in the match, Umyla Hanley also drops out. Oliver Partington is back after his suspension, while Sam Halsall is also recalled, having played for Newcastle Thunder last week. Brad Singleton will serve the final match of his suspension, while Tommy Leuluai and Bevan French (both hamstring) will not play again this season.

St Helens

Kristian Woolf has also made two changes to the side that lost out against Castleford. Morgan Knowles is back after missing last week’s defeat, and Jake Wingfield also returns, having spent the last few months out with a shoulder injury. They replace Ben Davies, and Tommy Makinson, who begins his two-match suspension. Regan Grace should also be fit to play, despite missing last week’s game with a knock.
