Wigan to address fans’ concerns

Wigan Warriors Stadium the DW Stadium

Chairman Ian Lenagan and executive director Kris Radlinski will host a Wigan Warriors Fans’ Forum at Robin Park Arena on Tuesday 31st August.

The Wigan club has said that the forum is a chance for supporters to have an open and honest conversation about the direction and aspirations of those at the top.

120 Wigan fans have been invited with free tickets are free, though COVID-19 restrictions have limited the number.

The Warriors have recently come under fire from their supporters having suffered a slump in form with three losses in a row causing grave concern amongst the terraces.

Wigan still sit in fourth in the Super League table, but risk slipping out of the play-offs altogether, with Leeds, Hull FC, Hull KR and Castleford all chasing the Warriors with less than ten percentage points separating Wigan in fourth between Castleford in eighth.

Head coach Adrian Lam last night said that his side were ‘rudderless’ in defeat and promised to change his side ahead of Wigan’s fixture with Castleford on Monday.
