Oliver Gildart is to join Wests Tigers from 2022, Channel 9’s Danny Weidler has confirmed.
Wigan have had a number of players try their hand in the NRL in recent seasons with the likes of George Williams, Ryan Sutton and John Bateman all testing their mettle Down Under.
And now, 24-year-old Gildart is expected to follow current teammate Jackson Hastings to Wests, with the centre out of contract at the end of 2021.
Rumours had been flying around since the start of the season, but finally there is something concrete as Gildart prepares for life after Wigan.
EXCLUSIVE : Wigan centre Oliver Gildart has agreed to join the @WestsTigers. Believe he just told his team mates in the UK. Three weeks back we told you Tigers had targeted him. Good pick up after signing Jackson Hastings. @9NewsSyd @NRLonNine
