Oliver Partington will sit out Wigan’s next four games after an independent tribunal ruled on his dangerous contact charge.

The Warriors forward pleaded guilty to the offence which resulted from Sunday’s game against Hull KR at the DW Stadium.

Partington did challenge the grading handed to him by the Match Review Panel, but this was upheld and he was given a four-match suspension and £500 fine.

Having played in all of Wigan’s games so far this season, the 21-year-old will now miss all of the club’s remaining fixtures this month.
