Wigan competing with NRL clubs for London youngster

Wigan face stiff competition from the NRL in their pursuit of one of England’s most promising young forwards, report Wigan Today.

London Broncos back rower Kai Pearce-Paul has emerged as one of the outstanding performers in Super League’s youth competition, prompting interest from several top-flight clubs.

He has reportedly been approached by two NRL clubs, however the Warriors are hopeful they can win the race for the teenager.

One of the big draws could be Adrian Lam’s willingness to give his young players a chance.

This season alone has seen the likes of Morgan Smithies, Liam Byrne, Amir Bourouh, Ethan Havard and Joe Shorrocks given debuts.

Pearce-Paul has yet to play Super League but could be the next big name to roll off the production line at the Warriors.
