Wigan announce Farrell testimonial squad

Wigan Warriors have announced the squad that will take on Leeds Rhinos in Liam Farrell’s testimonial on Sunday.

The Warriors have named a 23-man-squad for the match, which will take place at the DW Stadium.

Head Coach Adrian Lam told the club website: “The squad for the Leeds game is pretty strong – it’s a big squad and we’re excited about it.

“It’s a pre-season that we feel we have covered really well and now we’re looking forward to playing together as a group and getting done what we have learned from pre-season.

“It’s an opportunity for everyone to stake a claim as one of the 17 for Round 1 against Warrington.”

This is Wigan’s first pre-season match of 2020. They take on Leigh Centurions as well next week before they open the Super League season a week later.
