Widnes have confirmed that young forward Brad Walker has left the club.
The promising back rower has made 40 appearances for the club since his Super League debut in 2016
A Cumbrian native, Walker will now make the move back to full-time rugby after signing with an unknown Super League club.
“It’s always hard moving on but at this stage of my career, I think to have the chance to go back to Super League is something I couldn’t turn down.
“Thank you to everyone at Widnes Vikings, as well as the fans for their support over the years.
“This place took a chance on me and gave me my opportunity in professional rugby league, and I will never forget what this club has done for me.”
