Who replaces Burgess at the Rabbitohs?

With club legend Sam burgess announcing his immediate retirement earlier in the week due to medical reasons, the South Sydney Rabbitohs have big shoes to fill.

There are a number of second-rowers the Rabbitohs could sign right now, however there are two key players they have been linked to recently.

At the beginning of the week it was reported that the Rabbitohs were in a bidding war with arch-rivals the Sydney Roosters over Brisbane Broncos second-rower David Fifita Jr’s signature, however the Bulldogs have also seemingly joined the race for Fifita’s signature.

Later on in the week there were light rumours that the Rabbitohs were interested in Dragons back-rower Tyson Frizell. The Australian International is reported to be unhappy in Wollongong and looking for a release, however there were rumours of Frizell joining the Roosters a few months ago.
