Whitehaven release radical away shirt for 2023 season

Whitehaven have released one of the best away shirts you’ll see all season for the 2023 campaign.

The shirt has a black base with splashes of bright green all across the shirt in a fantastic, modern and somewhat radical look for the team.

The shirt also has a green collar as well as green rims around the top of the socks which are predominately black as are the shorts which have the same green detailing on them as the shirt itself as Haven put together a superb ensemble for the 2023 campaign.

Whitehaven will be hoping to get back into the play-offs in 2023. They finished sixth in 2021 whilst Lachlan Walmsley shone for the club attracting interest from Wigan Warriors prior to a move to Halifax Panthers who defeated Whitehaven in the play-offs that season.

Sadly, Whitehaven finished closer to the wrong end of the season in 2022 though weren’t in major danger of relegation as Workington Town and Dewsbury Rams struggled.

For a long time it looked like the Rams and the London Broncos were in a shoot out to avoid relegation till the Broncos pulled themselves well away.

Whitehaven finished 10th with 19 points 12 points clear of danger.

They’ll be hoping to climb back up the table in 2023 after that much more difficult season at the club but will have their work cut out for them after the brilliant recruitment from the likes of Bradford Bulls, Sheffield Eagles, Featherstone Rovers and Halifax Panthers.
