Whitehaven forward signs two-year-deal

Whitehaven forward Ethan Kelly has signed a new two year contract to remain at the club.

Kelly signed for the club in March from amateur club Millom and helped them win promotion to the Championship.

He scored one try during that time, as he adjusted to the professional environment.

“I really enjoyed my rugby last season so I was delighted to be able to sign for another two years. I’ve loved everything about it.” He said.

He will be hoping to help the Cumbrian side survive in the Championship for the first time since their relegation in 2016.

They will open their accounts on February 1, when they welcome Swinton Lions to the Recreation Ground.
