What NRL star Adam Reynolds has said about his future amid Hull KR links

Hull KR

Adam Reynolds admits he would love to stick around at Brisbane Broncos despite reports linking him with a move to Super League. Reynolds is reportedly being targeted by Hull KR ahead of next season, with the veteran playmaker seen as someone who could make the move to Craven Park in 2026 by the Australian press.

The reports come after Willie Peters outlined his expectation that Tyrone May will be leaving the Robins at the end of the season as the half-back pursues a switch down under to play with his brothers.

His exit is far from sealed and Peters left the door open for the half-back to change his mind, but the Robins are assessing their options for next year and beyond. As such, with Reynolds approaching the end of his contract at the Broncos, a move for Reynolds is an option for the east Hull outfit.

The Daily Telegraph report that first made the link speculated that although the Broncos would be willing to let the player leave in order to free up cap space elsewhere, Reynolds doesn’t want to play for another NRL club, pushing  him in the direction of Super League.

Reynolds is keeping his options open, though, with the half-back being drawn on his next move.

Adam Reynolds speaks out on future amid links to Hull KR

“The plan is to play on,’’ the half-back told Triple M, per Fox Sports.

“I will keep all options open at the moment. You never know what is around the corner.

“Ideally, I would love to stay at the Broncos but it is pretty tight there at the moment.

“If things work out, great. If not you would have to look and explore and see what else is out there.”

According to Hull Live, Reynolds is someone who has mentioned as a possibility at Hull KR, but it has been some time since the club and the players’ representatives were in contact.

So the Telegraph – renowned for their extensive, in depth reporting on our game – and the Aussie press – renowned for reporting anything, true or false, as long as it improves their advertising revenue – are the main instigators of this story.
    I’ll not hold my breath.

The Australian Telegraph, not ours. You can breathe freely. Until it went behind a paywall it was a great source of NRL news. If you saw the game on Saturday against Wests Tigers he incredible! Wherever he ends up that team will acquire an exceptional talent!
