‘We’re heading towards something bigger!’ – Championship club boosted by latest deal

Latest Championship news

Bradford Bulls might not be the team they once were, but they still have quality players in their ranks. And one of them has confirmed his future with the Championship club in a huge boost.

Keven Appo has signed a two-year extension which will now see him stay with Bradford until the end of the 2026 season.

The Papua New Guinea star arrived last February and hit the ground running, scoring ten tries as the Bulls made the Championship semi-finals. Appo has added another seven this term.

On signing the new deal, Appo told the Telegraph and Argus: “I am so happy I have extended my contract to stay with the club. I feel it’s the best decision I could’ve made for me and my family. With the coaching staff and the players we have now, I feel like they bring out the best in me.”

On Bradford’s Super League aims, Appo added: “I can see that we’re heading towards something bigger that the club desires and we’re doing that by taking one step at a time. I want to be a part of that, doing the hard stuff. I want to make a name for myself and to help contribute towards success for this team.”
