Wembley not an inspiration for Price

Warrington Wolves Head Coach Steve Price has said his team will not look to Wembley as inspiration for beating Saints on Thursday.

Wire claimed their only win against the-now Super League champions in 2019 in the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley.

Despite this, Price insists Warrington are only looking forwards, not backwards.

He said: “We’re a new team, we have a number of new players and we’ve tweaked a few things too. For us, its more about building on from last week and improving. That’s our sole focus.”

Warrington come into the game hoping to build on last week’s performance at Wigan Warriors, where they lost 16-10.

They will however, be without captain Chris Hill, as he picked up a three-match ban after getting sent off. Ellis Robson replaces him in the squad.
