WATCH: Prince Harry’s best bits from the 2019 Challenge Cup Final

You only have to turn on the news and Prince Harry is emblazoned all over it. But, in 2019, the Royal Family’s official YouTube channel released footage of Prince Harry attending that year’s Challenge Cup Final at Wembley.

His Royal Highness was appointed Patron of the Rugby Football League in December 2016 and was greeted by RFL CEO Ralph Rimmer and President Tony Adams as the final unfolded.

The Duke of Sussex also met the 2019 winners of the schoolboys’ Challenge Cup, Women’s Challenge Cup and Wheelchair Challenge Cup in the build-up to the final.

He then watched on as Warrington Wolves went on to win their ninth Challenge Cup against the odds, beating heavy favourites St Helens 18-4.

The prince then handed the trophy over to Warrington captain’s Chris Hill and Jack Hughes to round off a great day for the sport.
