WATCH: Kevin Sinfield gets sent off for headbutt

Kevin Sinfield was the ultimate professional whenever he took to the rugby league field.

However, even the most angelic of people slip up now and again. And, for the Leeds captain, that’s just what happened in a fixture against Castleford back in 2014.

The Tigers’ Luke Dorn had made a quick break, only to be tackled by Sinfield. The Rhinos skipper, however, held on for too long as referee Ben Thaler blew for a professional foul.

Dorn gestured for Sinfield to be sent to the sinbin which seemed to upset the Leeds man in such a high pressure environment. And, to the amazement of everyone watching, Sinfield was sent off for ushering his head into the Castleford fullback.
