Rugby League mistake

Rugby league players are incredible athletes, but sometimes things just don’t go to plan.

Glen Fisiiahi became known in the early 2010s for his sublime finishing and electric pace whilst playing for the New Zealand Warriors. However, he learnt the hard way of not celebrating a try until the ball is firmly planted on the ground in an under-20s game for the Warriors back in 2010.

It was six-apiece at the time between the Warriors and Souths as Fisiiahi collected a loose ball to sprint 80 metres. Yet, as the three-quarter crossed the line, he celebrated before touching the ball down, allowing a Rabbitohs player to catch up and tackle him, knocking the ball from his grasp.
