Australia selectors are said to be considering an approach for England hooker Josh Hodgson, after the former Hull FC and Hull KR man demonstrated his superb impression of an Australian accent on national TV.
On Fox League‘s Sunday Night with Matty Johns show, Hodgson was quizzed about the nickname he’d been given at Canberra Raiders – ‘Aussie Josh’.
The nickname was given to him by English teammates Elliott Whitehead and John Bateman, after they joked he’d taken too fondly to the Aussie lifestyle.
And to show he hasn’t taken it to heart, Hodgson demonstrated just how much he’d settled in down under in this hilarious clip…
