Super League St Helens Regan Grace

Former St Helens winger Regan Grace, two years after leaving Super League for rugby union, has scored on his international debut for Wales RU.

Grace joined St Helens at the age of 17, after previously playing rugby union as a child, and made his debut for the Wales international rugby league side a year later.

He didn’t play for St Helens until he was 20, however, when he scored against Wigan Warriors on debut in a Good Friday victory.

He went on to become a certain Super League star, and scored 88 tries for St Helens, winning the Challenge Cup and three Super League Grand Finals in a row.

The 2021 Challenge Cup victory was a particular highlight for Grace, as he scored a hat-trick in the quarter-final against Huddersfield Giants and scored in the final against Castleford Tigers.

His rugby league career ended in August 2022 as he ruptured his achilles, keeping him out for the remainder of the season.

He joined French rugby union side Racing 92 in 2022, who have given many players big contracts in recent years, including England’s Owen Farrell.

However, due to injury, he never managed to play for the side due to injury, as he suffered a reoccurence of his original achilles injury while recovering.

He was released by them, but joined Bath in the English Premiership , with whom he managed to play games for – with his debut coming in March of this year.

Grace was called up by the national team last month due to an injury for Keelan Giles, and made his debut this weekend in a game against Australian side Queensland Reds.
