Warrington Wolves’ youthful side registers victory over Salford Red Devils

Warrington Wolves’ youngsters put in an incredible shift to inflict victory on a strong Salford Red Devils side in Lee Mossop’s testimonial.

The Halliwell Jones Stadium was restricted to just one stand as Warrington and Salford fans alike filled the North Stand in honour of the former Wigan Warriors prop who recently called time on his career.

Josh Thewlis, Ellis Robson and Ellis Longstaff crossed for the hosts, whilst Jake Thewlis registered a double as Riley Dean kicked three goals.

Ryan Lannon, Joseph Brady and Jacob Lee crossed for the visitors with Jack Stevens converting.
