Warrington Wolves have been dealt a devastating injury blow, with youngster Arron Lindop forced off the field.
Lindop only returned to the side last week against Leeds after just over a year out with an ACL issue.
The centre was spun around in the tackle in this evening’s game with Catalans Dragons, and went down in agony, clutching his knee.
After a stoppage, the 20-year-old was helped off the pitch, in what was an upsetting viewing at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
James Bentley moved to centre in his place, with Max Wood joining the action from the bench.
With the injury being a result of foul play, in the view of the referee, the incident was placed on report, and Wir are now allowed an extra interchange and 18th man Adam Holroyd is now available to feature.
