Warrington Wolves vs Salford Red Devils: Kick-off time, TV Channel and Team News

Tonight’s fixture sees the resurgent Warrington Wolves welcome Salford Red Devils to the Halliwell Jones and the good news is that both sides are healthy.

It should be a highly competitive match as Salford look to get back in the win column following their upset defeat to Hull KR.

Meanwhile Warrington have brushed aside two teams who made the playoffs in 2022 and will be looking to add a third team to that list this week.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 20:00.

TV coverage is live on Sky Sports Arena from 19:30.

Team News

The visitors have a side that is unchanged from their loss to Hull KR but Joe Burgess will have had another week to get back to full fitness and match sharpness, which can only be positive news.

Salford’s left edge of Lafai and Burgess were shut down by KR centre Tom Opacic but with further match fitness perhaps the Red Devils can take advantage of Wire’s wingers.

As for Wire’s wingers their two-try hero from the Huddersfield win, Matty Ashton, features again as Warrington field a near full-strength side.

The forward pack is where they’ve been dominant this year but it’s also where they are missing stars with Josh McGuire out suspended, and both Gil Dudson and Matty Nicholson still out injured.

Matty Russell is left out of the squad from last week with Luke Thomas being brought in instead being the only change to Daryl Powell’s winning side.
