Once one of the biggest fixtures in the league between two of the best sides in the competition, both Leeds and Warrington have lost their way in 2022 despite a thrilling tussle between the two sides in the opening round which seemed to show positive signs for both.
However, as we approach the midway mark of the season the two languish outside the top six with Warrington eighth and Leeds tenth.
Their struggles have prompted both to change personnel and both need a win here to get them headed on the right track in the second half of the season.
Kick-off time and TV channel
The game kicks off at 8pm.
TV coverage starts at 19:30 on Sky Sports Arena.
Predicted Line-ups
Warrington Wolves
Daryl Powell won’t be forced into any changes for this game, but could bring new loan signing Kyle Amor into the team for his debut to provide more impact down the middle of the field. This could see Matt Davis dropped. Elsewhere, it’s likely Gareth Widdop will remain at fullback after a good outing there against St Helens. Powell will likely change little after such an encouraging showing against the Champions.

Leeds Rhinos
The Rhinos have lost one of the 17 who defeated Wakefield, and have two players back. Matt Prior’s return from suspension will be timely in order to replace the suspended James Bentley. He’ll likely start at prop with Zane Tetevano dropping to the bench enabling Morgan Gannon to start in the backrow in place of Bentley. The only other returnee in the squad is Corey Johnson. The young nine has returned from injury and has been given a new deal. It’s unlikely he’ll play unless Rohan Smith truly sees him as Brad Dwyer’s replacement with Dwyer linked with a move to St Helens. Elsewhere, Zak Hardaker will remain at fullback with Richie Myler and Blake Austin in the halves.
