St Helens head coach Paul Wellens has made just one change to his squad to take on Warrington Wolves this weekend. The Saints make the short journey to the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday as they look to claim a spot in the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup.
They’ll travel without Harry Robertson, though, with the versatile young back being ruled out with a head knock. Robertson suffered the injury last week in the win over Catalans Dragons and after failing a HIA, it was clear he wouldn’t be involved against the Wolves.
Curtis Sironen is able to return to the fold though after missing last week’s game to the birth of his child. As such, it seems likely that Wellens will name a similar line up to the one that played in the south of France last Saturday, with the head coach having just a couple of decisions to make.
Sam Burgess has made two changes to his Warrington Wolves squad, with Jordy Crowther and Josh Thewlis coming back into the fold. Thewlis missed last week’s game with the hip issue he suffered against the Saints a fortnight ago.
Dan Russell and Stefan Ratchford are the two that make way, ensuring there will be at least one change made to the starting line-up. Matty Ashton has been included despite carrying an injury and so have Toby King and Rodrick Tai, with Burgess confirming that Tai stood the best chance of being involved when speaking earlier this week.
