Warrington Wolves have suffered a major blow with the news that one of their forwards will be out for over a month.
Joe Bullock has played in all five games for the Wolves so far in 2022, but will miss out the next four or five games with an elbow injury.
“I thought he was going well for us, particularly carrying the ball, so it’s disappointing for him and for us,” Warrington head coach Daryl Powell said in his pre-match press conference to the Warrington Guardian.
“He’s probably four of five weeks. It’s a tough one but it is what it is.”
New signing Billy Magoulias hasn’t played at all this season after making the move from Cronulla Sharks, but Powell says there is a chance he will make it against Wakefield Trinity.
“We’ll have a look at him tomorrow and see where he’s at.
“He’s trained today so I’ll make a decision on him tomorrow.
“But he’s not far off.If he doesn’t play tomorrow, it’ll potentially be next week.”
