Warrington Wolves star’s brutal surgery and long recovery ahead revealed

Daryl Clark has revealed he is out of surgery following a successful operation.

Clark had posted following Warrington’s exit from the Super League play-offs, highlighting that he had a torn MCL as well as two fractured ribs whilst surgery was necessary on hip.

Now, though, the livewire hooker has put everyone’s minds at ease by saying: “Surgery all went well 🙌 road to recovery starts now I’ll be doing everything I can to be ready and raring to go in 2022.”

It follows a disappointing season for the Wolves, following a 19-0 loss to Hull KR in the elimination play-offs despite finishing third in the Super League table.

Clark will also be reunited with former Castleford Tigers head coach Daryl Powell as the latter takes the reins at the Halliwell Jones for the first time.
