The team news is in for today’s intriguing Super League clash between Huddersfield Giants and the Warrington Wolves.

The Giants are looking to cement themselves in the all important top four and maybe leapfrog Catalans into third spot in the table but have had to make an interesting call at centre.

Ian Watson has moved second-row Josh Jones out wide into the centre role overlooking Louis Senior who has recently been recalled from his loan at Hull KR.

Adam O’Brien meanwhile returns to the starting 13 at the expense of Danny Levi who drops to the bench in an interesting move from Watson.

Ash Golding starts on the wing with Will Pryce at fullback. Olly Russell makes the side at stand-off despite an injury scare in France last week.

Meanwhile there’s plenty of news in Warrington’s side namely the debut of Matt Dufty at fullback. However, George Williams misses out on a landmark 250th career appearance at stand-off meaning Peter Mata’utia features in the halves alongside Stefan Ratchford.

Former Wigan man Matty Nicholson starts at second-row with Jason Clark at 13 who doesn’t miss the chance to make his 250th appearance whilst Oliver Holmes makes the same landmark appearance off the bench.

The Wolves are looking to breathe life back into a difficult campaign for Daryl Powell’s men but winning at the John Smith’s Stadium has proved easy said than done for most teams so far this season.
