Warrington Wolves have made a point of bringing in some big forwards to the Halliwell Jones Stadium as Daryl Powell’s reign at the Warrington Wolves truly gets under way in 2023 after a tough first season in 2022.
Powell has signed Catalans Dragons Gil Dudson and Sam Kasiano as well as Paul Vaughn from the Canterbury Bulldogs.
They’ve also signed Josh McGuire from St George Illawarra Dragons in a major coup for the Wolves.
However, his departure coupled with the loss of ex-Wigan Warriors forward George Burgess alongside the loss of Daniel Alvaro to Toulouse Olympique and former Leeds Rhinos and wider Super League target Tariq Sims has left St George Illawarra Dragons desperate for big bodies after only signing Zane Musgrove.
So, Super League clubs with top notch forwards in their ranks should get ready for potential NRL interest from the Dragons.
This comes from Wide World of Spots’ Mole who has also reported that Leeds Rhinos forward James Bentley has been “shopped” around to NRL clubs and is seeking a move down under.
It’s unlikely that the Dragons will make a move for him due to the fact they are in the market for middles rather than edge forwards such as Bentley.
