Warrington Wolves signing has his say on what success looks like for the club in 2023

Paul Vaughan is one of the exciting new recruits at Warrington Wolves in 2023 as Daryl Powell assembles an exciting new look pack with the likes of Josh McGuire, Sam Kasiano and Gil Dudson all arriving at the club for 2o23.

Speaking to the Sportsman, Vaughan opened up on what success looks like for Warrington in 2023:

“I think success would be winning a lot of games. Last year was a bit under par for the boys that were involved, so we just want to build some strong combinations on the field and be a strong team that’s well respected, wins games and makes a charge for the finals. Let’s see what we can do.”

He also underlined his excitement ahead of the new season:

“I’m pretty excited. Myself and my family found out halfway through last year that we were going to come over, so we’ve prepared pretty well and we’ve settled in nicely. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in.

“I’ve watched a couple of games. I had a couple of mates at Warrington Wolves last year, so I was keeping tabs pretty closely. I was playing with [Matthew] Dufty at the [Canterbury-Bankstown] Bulldogs before he left midseason to come over, so he was telling me quite a bit of information on what was happening at the club. I felt like I knew a fair bit about the club before I came over.”
