Warrington Wolves have been doing it tough in 2022.
After a slow start to the Super League season, people thought the Cheshire club had turned a corner at Easter after an emphatic win over Huddersfield Giants.
However, the Wolves were brought right back down to earth after being humbled by an outstanding Wigan Warriors side who, at one point in the clubs’ fixture last weekend, led 40-10.
And, for leading player agent in rugby league, Craig Harrison at Show Me The Money UK, they need more firepower up front – which is exactly what Harrison reveals Warrington have bought.
“They still need two or three more props,” Harrison said on The Full Eighty Minutes podcast.
“Robbie Mulhern is playing out of his skin and so they need to get him signed up as Rob has been their form prop in my opinion.
“But, they are going to bring two or three more props in and I know one of of them who I have put forward.”
Warrington’s pack has been much maligned in 2022 with claims that it wasn’t big enough or strong enough to contend with the leading clubs in Super League.
And, it seems like head coach Daryl Powell now agrees with that assessment.
